Opa! It's time for the 2009 PANEGYRI!
|
"Full tables, warm hearts and open doors!"
|
On the last weekend of June, the 35th annual PANEGYRI Greek Festival carries on its tradition as one of the most successful events in the Cincinnati area. What started as a small Greek dinner, has reached a point where the expected number of guests is no less than one hundred thousand. And all this is because, behind everything you will experience during this weekend has been prepared with traditional Greek hospitality. "Greeks have always had the table full and the door open." We, the community of Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, thank you for your continued patronage and welcome you, as we debut what we hope will be yet another successful PANEGYRI Greek Festival.

Complimenting the food is the culture of Greece. PANEGYRI patrons have the opportunity to learn traditional Greek folk dances that they will see performed by our parish's children and adults dressed in authentic regional folk costumes. The festival also features a unique group of artisans and vendors offering jewelry, leather goods, fine linens, home goods, classical Greek art/statuary and more imported items from Greece. Take a few minutes to tour our Byzantine-style church as well as going through our Cultural Exhibit.

The NEW festival hours are Friday June 26th from 5 PM to 11 PM, Saturday June 27th from 3 PM to 11 PM and Sunday June 28th from 1 PM to 8 PM. Admission price is $2 (children 5 and under free). A portion of the admission price will be donated to Cincinnati FreeStore-FoodBank.
